Active Escape are now running paddle boarding sessions from the NEW Larkstone water sports centre at Ilfracombe harbour. It's also home to the Lime Kiln Cafe with amazing views across the harbour. Perfect for a post paddle refuel or for the land lubbers amongst us!


Go quad biking

Or axe throwing or take a 4 x 4 Landrover Experience. Guests and friends have enjoyed all of these activities at Keypitts Off Road Adventures. They're only a 20 minute drive from Butterhills and great fun in all weathers


Head to picturesque Clovelly

This captivating village is dog friendly and you’ll find a lobster & crab feast in early September as well as the apple day in October


Take a wander around the gardens at RHS Rosemoor
